Detonator 4 -> No boot

I tried installing the new detonator xp drivers onto my system:

Abit KT7-RAID
Creative GF2 GTS
Windows ME

Latest via 4-in-1 drivers were installed. Previous video drivers were detonator 2s.

After that the system would not reboot expect in safe mode.

After a lot of effort I think I have got it stable again (with detonator 2 drivers). However, are there any real advantages to the detonator xps, and if so, how can I install them?
