Detonator 3 drivers and Dell: Do they go together?

Hey guys,

I am new to the forums, so this may have already been asked. Does anyone know how the Detonator 3 drivers work with TNT2 cards in a dell system. I believe my card is a 16mb Diamond Viper TNT2. I heard that the Detonator drivers are causing a lot of problems with certain cards such as Hercules. I dont want to try and install them and then screw with my cpu and have to reformat.

Im' using Dimension XPST500 and using Viper Ultra TNT2 @ 32MB with reference from Nvidia, no problem..

I'm Running a V770 with Detonator 3 drivers. No problems here, but i havent really seen any improvement either

From what I understand, the detonator 3's are most beneficial to geforce based cards and TNT owners see little to no improvement compared to the older 3.xx's or 5.xx's. This of course just what I have read around here, I use the 6.32's with my GTS and they rock.

I think it should work great.

It should work, but detonator 3 (6.xx) is bad for pre geforce cards, stick to detonators in the 3-5 range
