Detonator 3 6.31 Drivers good for TNT2????

Do these drivers help the TNT2's performance or do they hinder them like the original 6.18 detonator 3 drivers did?

I don't know if it hinder the performance, but I am quite sure it doesn't help.

some ppl claim some work better than others.. but anything in the 6.xx series shouldn't be used for tnt2 and below because they only do stuff w/ Geforce and up... and benches have shown that they actually decreases tnt2 pref. by a little

I have a strange case with a CL TNT2 it will not work with the 5.XX series of Detonator drivers but both the 3.XX & 6.XX work fine... So I cannot tell if the 5.XX are better but the performance with the 6.XX drivers seems to be excellent go figure???


BTW the 6.18 drivers hindered all of my Geforce cards too 6.26 & 6.27 made a big improvement...

Wow this is an old post of mine, lol.

Anywaz, I am using 6.31 now and i don't notice a big performance decrease in Counter-Strike. I decided to use 6.21 instead of my rock stable beta 5.32 drivers because i was afraid of some compatiblity issues that the older 5.32 drivers might have with new games, so i wanted to stay current.

BTW, if you want to use 5.xx drivers, i'd defiantely go for the 5.32 drivers. they are better than the 5.22 drivers.

The fastest Detonators I have found for my TNT2 are the unofficial 5.45 version. Beats any of the 5.3x and 6.xx drivers, but I'm yet to do a comparison with 3.xx detonators - may try out the old 3.68 to see if there is an advantage.
