I just upgraded to the newest stable detonator drivers for my geforce 2 MX 200. When I start win2k, the screen is skewed an inch to the right. When I go into display properties and choose the advanced tab, the monitor refreshes and centers it's self. How can I have the display start up correctly? It's almost like it's starting up with a different refresh rate. Annoying as hell!

I had this problem, too. I went from the 6.31's to the 12.41's and noticed that the "Optimal" refresh rate setting sets my my monitor's refresh rate at 60 Hz (weird $hit). You have to set it manually by selecting either 75 Hz or 85 Hz (or higher). I never had this problem with other drivers sets, so, it's apparently another bug.

Optimal, has always been 60hz or so, on all cards and drivers I have seen, I always change it to 85, and never have a prob after....

Come on guys, it's not the drivers, it's the refresh rate, and the setup on the monitor for that resolution/refresh rate. Monitors need tweaked just like computers. If you find a refresh rate you like, but your monitor is not centered, or not using up the whole screen, use the monitor's buttons to adjust the settings, (v-settings, and H-settings)

NWRMidnight,

Then why didn't I have a problem with the 6.31's, 6.50's, and 7.58's? The 12.41's--when set to "Optimal"--always sets the refresh rate back at 60 Hz upon reboot. I never had the problem with "Optimal" before these drivers. It's not a major issue, but 60 Hz isn't optimal. BTW, I know all about screen adjustments; that isn't the issue, here.
