<< The driver has a slightly more recent date than the version 5.32. Two new variables have appeared in the OpenGL section in the registry - TexStagingBufferSize and TexStagingBufferMultSize. The single NV11 (GeForce2 MX) line have transformed into three - NV11, NV11 DDR and NV11 GL.

First tests indicated that the Detonator 6 is in almost all cases slower than the 5.32

Downloaded em anyway 😉

Do not get these. They are actually older than the 5.32's. People reporting massive FPS drops and 2d problems. Stay away!

LOL! LMAO! 😀

Its like nVidia is just attaching their latest incarnation of the Detonator drivers in emails to web sites. 😉 Geez...5.32 better than 6.01...6.01 slower than 5.32...huh? This is fscked...

Had nVidia ever released a FINAL driver that was less than one version older than the latest beta? 😛

Hehehe, sorry, I just think it is a bit ridiculous.

Shugga and konichiwa: the 6.01 being older than 5.32 and the 2D problems are stated by reactorcritical.

LXi: Neither was I, but when I tried 5.30 with Deus Ex demo it all changed - the difference in performance compared to offical 5.22 was astronominal. Well, relatively speaking - usually effect of drivers in worst-case framerates is way less than the ~80% boost I got here.
