Detecting which ports are blocked

Is there a program that will test all of your ports to see which are being blocked? I have a friend at work and one at school who wants to know which ports they can use, and also which ones are being blocked.

nmap or any portscanner really will tell you if a port is open/closed/filtered/otherwise.
