Hi this is my first post here on this extremely usefull website and sorry if its not in the right section
My laptop was very severely liquid damaged over the weekend, at the minute trying to determine which of these bad scenarios occured 1-somebody else was in the flat when everyone was gone for the weekend 2-my flat mates delibrately destroyed my laptop (damage does not look in anyway accidental, lid was still closed no nearby spillage etc) 3-I suffer from complete memory loss.

I have removed the hard drive (which appears to be dry), basically I was wondering what programs (free or trial) I would use to detect the last time that windows (XP) was started, this would be when the hard drive is attached to another PC using an adapter cable (other pc will be desktop running XP)
I had no users or logins set up for windows

have been using winspy to take a look at the index.dat files on other pc as practice (haven't got the hang of it yet, if i clear the privacy data can't seem to find the old index.dat files)

I still need to check the router logs though (just remembered about them)

My ISP (NTL) weren't any help when I rang to ask about internet usage over the weekend. If any one can think of other things like these it would also be appreciated.

Thanks for any help

I'm not an expert by any means, but couldn't you see the last access date of something that get's used regularly? pagefile.sys comes to mind.
