Detecting Array?

I get this stupid "detecting array" message a lot when booting up, not sure why i get it or what it means though, anyone know?

edit: darn it, beaten by a Trout! ^ 😛

That's on your DFI, correct? Is the onboard nF3 SATA controller set to RAID mode? If there's an option in the BIOS to disable the RAID capability of the SATA so it operates in "normal" fashion, you could give that a try.

Yah, you got trout-slapped😛
BW86, that is a strange one. I would look deeper into the bios, and see if there are other options regarding array control, and also quick boot options. Some of the turbo quick boots are so fast, you have to hold the "delete" key down when you boot up, or you never get into the bios. That might make the detection process effectively dissapear.
