From what I've heard, it sounds like the 52.16's are the ones to get.

Yeah, get the 52.16. That first link from majorgeeks says 52.14 for win2k/xp is not true. It's actually 52.16 for win2k/xp.

52.14's still have fog and lighting issues... 52.16's are fixed, and from what I hear, WHQL candidates.

I have already D/L today this Det 52.16 which was claimed to be WHQL but I didn't try installing them yet. Running fine now with my FX-5800 on 45.23 WHQL

Don't consider them WHQL certified until they're on nVidia and Microsoft's websites. There is no new WHQL Certified Denonators yet... but the 52.16 is supposedly the next candidate.

Ok... d/l the 52.16's and installed them. I'm happy to say everything is running great. The biggest notice was in Halo. I went from avg. 20-50fps to 30-70fps. Same with SWJA, everything ones smoother. UT2003 also looks better and players smoother.

I really needed these drivers because of Halo's bad performance with the 45.23's. Just look at Anands Cat 3.8 review to see what I am talking about.

Very happy with 52.16's. 😀
