Desperatly needed help with 3d cards

My friend has a 3D Rage Pro AGP 2x and a Voodoo2 hooked up with it. He runs counterstrike with the voodoo2 card just fine but when he tries to run maxpayne, it only sees the 3d rage pro (which isnt that great of a card for gaming). Anyone care to help:|😕
