Question Desperately need help with Linksys MX5600 router DHCP settings.

Hello,

I recently went with a new Internet provider, and they provided me with a Linksys MX5600 router. I have a serious problem in that I cannot access the devices on my network anymore (printer, NAS, other computers).

I assume the problem is that, on my old router, the IP addresses of the devices were 192.168.0.xxx and now they are 192.168.1.xxx. The question is, the DHCP settings look unfamiliar to me, so, can anyone help me with a) confirming that is the reason for the problem and b) explaining to me how I can get the settings right?
The devices are seen in Advanced IP Scanner, but I cannot get to them over thenetwork.
In case that is relevant, I am on Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
I am also very desperate, as I don't know what or how to try anymore.
I can control the router both from my browser and from an Android app.

All help will be very much appreciated.

If your devices are getting their IP addresses through DHCP, it should be a simple matter of rebooting each device. If you're connecting to the devices by IP address, as is often the case with printers, the easiest way would be to just rediscover the printer through the Control Panel->Devices & Printers or through Settings->Bluetooth & Devices->Printers & Scanners.

One thing I forgot to mention: the odd thing is, the devices do show up in Advanced IP Scanner, but not in the Network Places in File Explorer.
I circled my Nas in the attached screenshot, it has the same IP address eding as the router (1.11, not 0.11) but no luck. The ipconfig method did not help, I'll try the other ones too, but so far I'm stil where I started. By the way,I have a dynamic IP address.

Using your NAS as an example, what happens if you type \\LS10D5D0 into the address bar and then hit enter, when you have Network Places open?

Then it asks for my login credentials and when I log in the correct place is opened.

Often, when Windows detects a network change, which occurred when you changed routers, it makes the new network Public. Check to see if that's what happened and change it to Private.

I have set it to private, but it makes no difference to the devices not appearing on the network. I know in order to allow file and printer sharing your network has to be set to private, but that still does not do anything about the problem.

Have you checked it since you changed the router?

In any case, you've seen that they don't have to show up in Network Places in order to be accessible. Windows is a little "quirky" with what does and does not show up there. The devices could show up any time.

Yes, that is always the first thing I check.

Yes, it most probably is. If only I knew what so I can solve it.
The big one is I can't get the PC to communicate with the printer, though. It isn't even recognised, so I can't get the PC to look for it. Even at install time the software and printer don't communicate. (EPSON ET-2550). After letting the printer look for the PC/Network I get the message it is not detected.

I don't see it in the list above. If it's wireless you may have to re-associate it with your wireless network. Also, check to see if you gave it a static IP.

I don't think I can. My ISP gives dynamic IPs.

Whatever your ISP does, in this case, is really irrelevant. You can give any device on your network a static IP. Your printer is not in the above list, so it doesn't have an IP on your subnet. You need to find out why. Simply check its configuration.

I have also tried doing it the "automatic" way, ie. switch on the printer and then pressing the WPS button on the router, but even then the router failed to recognise the printer (or vice versa) so I am really stuck now on how to have my network recognise anything at all (the proper way anyway).
Nevertheless, I am very grateful for all your help.
