Basically James O'Keefe lied in a video by heavily editing his interactions with ACORN staffers to make it look like they were condoning criminal activity when they weren't.

O'Keefe ended up getting sued, settling, and apologizing for his conduct.

This is a fairly common response from people who support voter ID laws. When they are shown contrary information they try to ignore it instead of allowing it to threaten their beliefs.

Let's be honest with ourselves, if you've decided that you would ignore its findings because the first page was prosaic you were going to continue to support voter ID regardless of what the piece said. Might as well own your irrationality, right?
