Desperate: Need FN key drivers for Sony Vaio VGN-FZ140E running XP

I need to use use my laptop with a beamer/projector and turns out that the function key (F7) does not work since I am running XP. I need a solution desperately and can some please help me get just the right drivers/software/whatever is needed to that I can use the function keys (especially the one for F7 i.e. for external monitor/beamer/projector).

Start here - Sony should help you download the right drivers.

My brother has a VAIO laptop that came preinstalled with XP Pro. A couple years ago, I wiped it and clean installed XP Pro (non-branded OEM). I couldn't get the FN keys or even a few of the special buttons working using the utilities and drivers available from the Sony support page for his model, even though I installed them in the order specified. Worked on it for hours and hours without any luck. I had to restore the system using the restore discs (thank goodness I created them).

You could just go through Windows display properties to enable the projector?
