Ok my first choice is out of stock everywhere...Antec VP550P

I am left with the following choices:
- Aerocool e80 600W
- Aerocool strike-x 600W
- Cooler master extreme2 525W/625W
- Cooler master extreme2 625W

Here is what the PSU will need to power:
CPU:E6600
Zalman CNPS9500 cooler
GPU Radeon 6850
2 SATA HDDS (1TB WD Green, 3TB WD Green)
1 SATA HDD Molex/sata power connector (250GB)
1 SATA DVD Writer
1 DVD ROM (Molex power connector)

Which one to get? I mean the least crappy?
After reading reviews, I'm leaning towards the e80 600W...

Aerocool isn't very good, not sure why you'd consider E80... as far as efficiency and connectors go, it looks like a 450W unit with a 600W label on it (hardwaresecrets).

The only good Cooler Master PSUs are in the Silent series.

Where are you buying from? What was your old PSU and what happened to it?

My old PSU is still a cheap chinese generie 550W PSU that when I put my new 6850 on it chokes and does not run will all my HDDS...One of my HDD fails to get enough power and is not detected and makes the 'hd sound of death'
I can manage to get it booted but I know that it will fry under load.
Im buying from a brick and mortar shop as shipping PSUs on my island is prohibitive.

edit: That is exactly the review I read and I missed the 450W part. Going to go through it again.
edit2: I see they pulled out 608W from it...Can you guide me where exactly please?

If you need cheap, go with a OCZ ZS/ZT 550w Power supply.

Way better option that your choices listed.

I didn't say it can't deliver 600W. I meant that going by efficiency and the number of connectors (hardwaresecrets' observation), it looks like a 450W unit (my conculsion). Even a 500W unit should have two PCIe connectors, and the efficiency at full load is pretty bad.

What PSUs do you have available? Any Antec Neo Ecos or Earthwatts? Antec VP450 would be powerful enough as well. What about Corsair CX430 or CX500?

Yeah my first choice was the VP550P but its out of stock in any shop...
There is the antec neo eco 520W which is a bit pricey and only 520W and the reviews are not too hot on it?

These are the only ones at the moment. I'll dig it a bit deeper and report if I can find any other models in my price range that is available in the shops...

How pricey?

I can't find any reviews on it. But it's manufactured by Seasonic, one of the top quality OEM's in the industry. It's a good quality unit.

OP: You get what you pay for. That Aerocool looks like it maxes out barely at the rated wattage and refuses to budge past that. Quality PSUs don't do that.

$15 more isn't much, I'd say it's worth it. That review is positive, to quote the conclusion:

"It's a decent performer and quality with very good ripple suppression...it's a Seasonic after all. The 12V load regulation could be more aggressive. It's not going to win any silence awards but it's going to be very quiet most of the time."

Antec neo 520 is a fantastic psu. I ran my sig rig on it for a while.

Basically get the cheapest psu with these brands on them:

Seasonic
Antec
Enermax
Coolermaster
PC Power & cooling
Cougar

Any of those will work fine. Your system doesn't even use 300W at full load so buying anything 450W and above is perfectly fine.
