It found it watchable - not great, but not too bad either.
I think El Mariachi was the best of this Trilogy - pretty sad when a $7K movie is better than a multi-million dollar production

Just buy the Desperado dvd. It was pretty cheesy in some scenes, and the story blows. The only good thing is Depp.

It was ok in my book. The only thing I really didn't like was the shortage of Selma Hayek. She made the first one good, and this movie would have benefited more with her having more roles. To be honest, the plot and storyline really didn't make a big impression on me. Id give it a 6/10.

Yeah, that was it. Though you never see mention of what kind he's using, and most just assume common shot. Nice to know that rounds like that really do exist, though.
I just saw it. took a long lunch.
anyway, here's my personal opinion, plot and story line was not well developed. too much time spent in the past, not enough time in the present. the movie itself was too short for what they were trying to do. I personally thought the individual performances were pretty good. Depp was good, Mickey Rourke played himself again could have been better but not bad, Willem Dafoe was Dafoe, Cheech was cheech, Banderas was good.
salma hayek as just a memory was ok, but as i said wayy too much time spent in reminiscing.
about 1/2 way thru it i felt bored, something i didn't feel at ALL during Underworld.
if i were comparing the two, i'd say underworld was better.

No.
They tried to fit in too many story lines. They should have just picked one or two and stuck with them. Some of the action/FX were really bad. (Banderas climbing the wall in the church).

i don't understand how so many people on this forum hated it, it got a rating of 73% at rottentomatoes. I saw it and i liked it, it did leave something to be desired but it's certainly not one of the worst movies as many are claiming it to be. Maybe if they had salma in it more, it would've received more of a positive reaction from this crowd.

i wouldnt go that far. and this is coming from a guy who saw the following movies in the theatres:
Cutththroat Island, Dude Wheres My Car?, and [meekly] gigli [/meekly].
keep in mind, i didnt pay for any of these movies, and good thing i didnt, or else i wouldve been severly pissed.
