What kind of desktop do you use? What are the best desktops out there? (litestep, etc.) and what's your wallpaper?links!

I use a basic to free up my system resources. When I had a real piece of sh*t I tried that other stuff but it took up too much of my system resources. Now I have a good cpu and 512mb of ram but won't even dare do anything to compromise my speed.

I would be using a nextstart/window blinds combo except it destroys my system resources... they're some really pimp and functional themes out there... if you've got the resources to spare it's worth checking out... skinz.org has some good themes for next start/litestep...

Nothing special, not even active desktop so it won't suck up my resources. I have that earth .jpg lit up at night.. with all the lights wrapping my desktop, so one end actually reaches the other end. Dual monitors rock!
