I got back home yesterday after 4 weeks of staying away. I sat down at my computer, and hit the power switch, and nothing happened. I pulled al lthe exxternal wires, turned off main power, reset the power cord and hit the switch again. Nothing again. This was werid considering that my Computer was running perfectley before I had left, and the computer was protected though a sruge protector.

My keyboard and my camera were all lit up, which meant they were reciving power.

I'm using a 400 watt Antec PSU that is about 4 months old, with no problems until now

Can anyone Help? And yes, right now I'm resetting my CMOS.

Is it an Antec Smart Power? Just wondering because I've RMAd four Antec Smart Power series power supplies since January. One 300W, one 350W and two 500W. Do you have access to another power supply. That would be my next step.

Right on the money. Interestingly enough, my first Smart Power was DOA in the Box. I don't have another power supply nor can I afford another one... I wonder I could get it warrentied.

Actually, my Sister told me that she was cleaning the house, and moved my computer desk about a foot to the right. She told me as she was moving it, the light on the router for my computers internet flickered out... I guess its now time to start checking wires. But I don't think that coudl harm my PSU, considering how well it was working

Antec is actually pretty good about fixing under warranty. Took about 7-10 days to get mine back, but I am just 15 miles away from Fremont, CA. Antec required a copy of my receipt but I read somewhere that they aren't requiring receipts anymore. They can tell the date of purchase or mfg date from the serial number. You will find out when you fill out a request for RMA form. The RMA will tell you what you will need to send back.

edit:
Here's the link. Antec suport
Looks like you still need to send in the copy of your receipt. If you don't have it, I would call and inquire about what I heard.

Is there any other reason why my couputer would have died from being moved? Its never been used after I left it alone of a month.
