Desktop Wallpaper Disappearing???

After an extended period of time (typically overnight) the desktop wallpaper will disappear and all I have is a blue background. To bring the image back I have to go to the Desktop tab, select a different wallpaper and then reselect the desired wallpaper. I have ran several scans of Symantec Antivirus, Malwarebytes and hijackthis. All come back clean. WTF? I have three other computers at work that are showing the same symptoms. All report clean when running the various scans.

Apparently my Google-Fu is weak. I thought this would be a quick search of Google with a fix but have come up empty.
 
Go down to the last two notes in this thread. Your sysmptoms sound like the same malware that is being discussed. There is a fix link that apparently worked.
