Desktop Theather 2500 & SBLive Platinum

is the only way to get 5.1 sound through SPDIF?
I connected my speakers like the book says but with the R&F cables, when I switch it to FourPoint it sounds great but it only comes out through 4 speakers and sub but not the center, when i change it to Music or Movie mode I get all 6 speakers but it doesnt sound as good as the FourPoint Mode, is this how it is or am I doing it wrong?

Thanks,
Nore

PS: After having this comp for about 2 months I just notice this now

I'm not following you here. All you have to do is plug the din connector or the spdif into the DTT2500 unit, no other cabling is required. The only time you will get 5.1 is if the stream actually is 5.1, which is basically only DVD's at this point.

Yes exactly.....

One day when games are released on DVD-ROM, they will have 5.1 sound. A couple of PS2 games will use this in the near future, since the system supports DVD.

Whenever I play games on my DTT2500, I use FourPoint mode with Digital In.
