Desktop text blur, link color off Radeon 2600XT

I just finished installing this new card on my system today and have noticed that my display is now blurry. The desktop looks blurred, especially the text. When I look at webpages the link colors are all different than they should be.

I've searched all over the web for this but can't figure out what the issue is so am hoping someone here may have an idea of what the issue is.

Video: Sapphire Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 GHz
RAM: 3MB DDR2
Power: 600W
Mobo: Asus P5BW-LA
Monitor: 17" V7

I've got the desktop resolution set to 1280X1024.

Overall it seems to run games ok but there is some blurring in there as well.

Have you set the desktop resolution to your monitor's native resolution?

Do you have ClearType enabled? I've heard that's fixed similar problems.

Well I believe my monitors native resolution is 1280X1024 although I don't really know how to tell. It specifies that resolution on the website for it. I had ClearType enabled before I installed the video card.
