Desktop System Monitor

Hey guys!

Does anyone know any good programs to monitor your system, and which runs on the desktop as an app.
I know CPU-Z, but that's like a window you have to have opened which doesnt look very fancy. I'm looking for something like this:

Gkrellm:

It should be as simple as possible and take up as little performance as possible, and also compatible with win 8 64bit.

AIDA64 is the best there is. It has a gadget that is highly customizable and will display whatever you want.

HWiNFO has some sort of sidebar gadget available, it might be what you want.
