desktop resolutions

this may sound like a stupid question, but is there a way to bind the resolution in windows to each account because i right now im running a 17in sony trinitron at 1280x1024 and when my dad tries to use the computer he cant read anything. i tried using clear type and large fonts but that didnt help him much. if not i might just have to bump it down to 1024x768 till i get my fp2001 but i figured there might be something you guys know that i dont.

I actually thought it did that by default (at least in WinXP/2K), but I guess not (unless you're using Win9X/ME).

You might try the OS forum, where you would be more likely to get advice on this problem. This is not a 'hardware' issue.
