desktop problem (have pic) w/ ti 200, your opinion?

Problem not real but expample of what i mean

When i start my computer my WHOLE desktop is shifted over to the right then after warm up it moves back over to the left. It's a visiontek ti 200, and i've tried it with another visiontek ti 200, the problem is their but not as bad.

Monitor sony 19 inch g400
asus a7v266-e

Are you running powerstrip or another utility to set your refresh rate or clock speed on your graphic card, if so it could be that your monitor presets are set for the settings powerstrip does and not what the default windows settings are upon boot

There are two ways to center the display,

1. Most monitors have controls which control the horizontal/vertical position

2. Go to display properties, settings, advanced, device selection, device adjustments...


However, with the position changing as the monitor warms up, it makes we wonder if

there might be a problem with the monitor ???

i'm running powerstrip but no custom timings execept for overclocking my card. It's not like it goes away after powerstrip loads or anything though. Seems like after my monitor warms up it goes away. Also if my monitor goes into powersave mode my desktop moves back over to the right then after it warms up it goes away again.
