I need to know the path to the desktop for Windows ME and XP
for example win98 is C:/windows/desktop
Win 2000 C:/documents and settings/all users/desktop dont quote me on this one as I dont have access to my win2k machine till tonight .. You get the picture as to what I am looking for..

I basically need the path to direct a self extraction zip to the desktop of each OS. Thanks in advance you guys rock
 
ME will be the same as 98.
The Windows 2000 path is fine for XP.
All of this assumes you have a default installation and didn't do anything funky. Also be aware that users will only be able to read something in All Users desktop under XP if you're using NTFS and they don't have Administrator rights. I don't know what you're trying to do exactly so you may want to give them read/write access to All Users desktop.
