most i've heard is mid to late september...i wonder what the intro price will be...

Intro price will be roughly between $150-230... slightly above the price the current 1.4GHz T-Bird sells from them at.
Intro will be late September.

Unfortunately I can't be any more accurate then that but the above is correct so far as their PR department has reported.

No, they are desktop chips. The are meant to be run in dual CPU configs, but I have one running just fine as a single on an Epox 8K7A.

Related question: When will there be new dual processor boards to support the Palominos? I'm waiting for a less expensive MP board.

let's see...get my dad the 1.4 right now...with prices so low so tempting...or give him my 1.33 and grab the palo's when they are out.
