Desktop Motherboard that Supports Server Memory

Hi,
I am looking to build an i7 PC with a desktop motherboard however I would like to use 24gb of server memory. Any suggestions on a possible motherboard? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

That's a lot of RAM. Well, look at the SuperMicro X58 boards. They're your best bet.

Thanks! After researching I found it doesn't overclock at all. Does anyone have any other boards?

You're not going to find a motherboard with more than 6 DDDR3 slots that overclocks unless you find a hacked BIOS.

I don't believe that the i7 line of processors and motherboards support ECC memory. You would need to use a Xeon processor for that
