desktop LCD w/ xbrite like technologies

I know that Sony has desktop lcd w/ xbrite, are there any other desktop lcd w/ that use a similar tech?

it would be perfect if i could find a widescreen lcd w/ it but that's a long shot...
 
What's xbrite most LCD's I saw are really bright already. Is it something like Samsung's magic bright. With different preset brightness contrast settings.
 
Yeah, I have to turn the brightness and contrast down to 20% to avoid burning my retinae already. Would I have to wear welders' goggles with xbrite?
 
I've mentioned this in other threads, but make sure you truely like that XBrite-style screen before you get one, as you will get lots of glare!
