edit: I don't encode *while* gaming, but that would be pretty slick. Usually I set up a couple jobs and run them overnight.

Laptop: I use it for internet, youtube, work, and movies when traveling. Battery life is most important not speed, and I usually end up throttling the cpu 50% since I don't need it.

other computer is encoding + watching stuff, x4 635. i'd like to upgrade this one this year.
