Desktop Keeps Shifting....Can anyone help?

I have a Viewsonic optiquest 17" V775 monitor and have a problem. After every 10 minutes and everytime I boot my desktop shifts. I have to continually adjust it. It will move and resize all the time. Could it be my monitor, video card, or cables? Oh btw I have a Aopen Geforce 2 MX vid card. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Well many monitors do have a warm-up time. After it has been off or on stand-by and you turn it on, it will be different size and position. However have 10-20 minutes it will return to the correct size.

Don't know if this is your problem though doesn't really sound like it.

But know that I think of it, my old 15" GVC monitor changes around every few minutes. I think it's just dieing even though it's only about 5 years old.

Oh that is great, it is only about 2 years old. Anyone else have a solution?
