Desktop icons are not visible. Help me.

In Windows Vista, my desktop icons are not visible.
I have even tried the "view -> show desktop icons also.

If i do it i just get recycle bin....

Every time i am going to "users-> username -> desktop"

Any solutions?
 
Your icons aren't going to display in that folder as Explorer is displaying the directory contents for "C:\Users\Username\Desktop". What you want is a folder that can be accessed by click caret (arrow) next to the folder icon on the Address Bar then selecting Desktop.
