so as of late my system in my signature has been freezing.

i've been bumping vCore (now its up to 1.232v CPU-Z 100% load @ 3.2ghz)
it can also be my 2.5-3 year old Fortron Group FSP 600watt Epsilon PSU

it does get a lot of dust sucked into it from the bottom of my case + carpet but it runs 100% cpu load + cs:s at the same time fine

what i'm more concerned is: what does it mean when my desktop freezes but i get system beeps from my speakers, or sometimes a constant long beep until i hard-off and restart.

weird thing is, this always happens when i'm away from the computer for hours at a time.

Does your system try to go into some sort of standby mode when you are away from your computer?

It might be that one of your drivers doesn't want to co-operate when it goes into low power mode.... particularly Creative's drivers for your Audigy.
