Desktop color problem with Voodoo5.

Every now and then my desktop colors turn to this washed out green. I can see the outline of the icons but everything is basically pale green. It has happened twice when I've clicked 'finish' while installing software, and most recently when I clicked a link while surfing. A reboot will correct the problem but it's still annoying.

I'm running Win98SE with a voodoo5 card (using modded Voodoo 6000 drvrs). Any thoughts?

 
I have V5 with W98SE and have no problems whatsoever. I use 1.041 beta drivers. I find these drivers to be the best for everything.
I suggest those drivers.
 
I wasn't sure if the various driver sets made any difference where 2d was concerned. I guess I could give that a shot.
 
I had a problem like that, whenever I went to go play a certian game my screen would go BRIGHT white and wouldnt go away till I restarted, what kinda fixed it is if u go to your 3dfx tools and click on the 3dfx color tab is would go back to normal.
