Desks w/ case cubby hole and ventilation...

You can see in my rig the fans I've got in ma system. Two Panaflo's and a Fop 38 put out some noise. I'm just curious as to how good airflow will be if I put my case back in my desk's cubby hole specifically for that. I'm sure it'll cut down on noise but will it drastically effect my temperatures?
 
bad idea dude! If i were you, I would mod up an old PSU and use a hole saw to install a few fans in the desk! I have worked with similar desks in the past, and believe me when i say, it gets hot as h3ll in there!
