Although I am the last person to advocate mindless television watching, what television show would best describe yourself?

Personally, "Lost" or "Battlestar Galactica" for their themes of salvation or redemption in unknown locales.

Please explain why you choose your particular show.

Well, I meant in a more existential/philosophical manner but for someone from Windsor talking about unknown is a little bit ironic ;) :D:)

I'm Jim Belushi's character in "According to Jim," a fat out of shape guy who has a hot wife.

you know, i've noticed that trend in a lot of sitcoms lately.

King of Queens (although the wife isn't super hot)
There was some show last night I watched part of, no idea what it was though, but the husband was ugly and the wife sorta looked like Courtney Cox.

Without a doubt, my life would be summed up by Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Either that or The Incredible Hulk. 6'5", 2% bf, green, totally jacked.

Probably try to emphasize that the unobtainable actually is obtainable as a means to distract from the vagaries of life

Sandford and Son. And to a lesser extent, Sportscenter. They both really capture my daily inner struggle on a level even I find surprising.

if your wife has a hot sister also, then you need to pass that number to me.

Her sisters are not as hot, fun as hell to hang out with, but not as hot. Besides, 1 is married and the other will be come June 3, so you are out of luck unfortunately.
