just be yourself, probally heard that before but if you are something that are not then you will met people who are looking for something you are not and eventually you will not be happy being something that you are not with someone you discover is not who you thought they would be when you tried being who you are not.

e_mc_2-That was beautiful
He is so right, why be someone that you aren't? The female partner will find out eventually, and you WILL hate yourself.
I've gone through many of your situations, pamchenko, after pathetic attepts to be someone I wasn't, I finally decided to be myself, and hell, it worked like a charm! Give it a try! Self-Confidence is also the key, not ego-like, but, you know :)

OK, here goes. Ideal guy for me, since I cannot speak for other women is honest, but not when I ask the "Do I look fat" question. And do not lie to me and tell me I look sexy at 6 am with my hair sticking up on top of my head, and my makeup running from the night before because I forgot to wash it off, I know you are lying! ;)

Actually though, the important things are honesty, trustworthiness and commitment. And be attentive when she is talking, a woman loves a man who she feels listens to her.

The chicks can either back me up or disagree with this...

Some kind of study was done on what women look for in a man...The SOLID winning combo was an Assertive yet unselfish man.

That means they want you to take the lead in things and yet be unselfish at the same time.

And don't forget confidence and a sense of humor.

I, of course, only BARELY fit into the sense of humor category.

Hmmmmmmmmm.......the ideal guy. Looks - I have to say, I go for the stereotypical tall, dark and handsome.
But most important is brains, humor, and honesty.

Being "well endowed" doesn't hurt :p

BA: I have heard that many times, and I just cannot believe it. Maybe it's true, but I look in the mirror and want to scream. ;)

Well, hopefully you're not the right woman for yourself. I don't know if you'd go blind or something?

Of course, if you did, no more looking in the mirror...

LOL, GF!
Same here - I just don't believe it when I hear it. Just seems like such a lie to me. But I guess it's not...

My "ideal guy" is the one who doesn't realize what he's got.

Now I'm married to that girl. And she's happy to have a guy like me. It's been tens years together now, three of them married.

Look for those guys. There's a ton of 'em out there...
