That seems very feasible, but some of these others just seem rehearsed. Supposedly he is a genius physiologist who can manipulate the mind, but I'm not buying it.

I'm reading the comments on the first video and

Watch Derren's right hand at 6:17, he is palming a new sheet of paper. At the moment that he is giving the chess player 'a hand', he stacks it behind the original paper (that came from the envelope) and flips it around before it is unfolded.

I could never tell if it's real or not, but some of it seems way over the top to be real... is NLP really that powerful?

Some of the stuff seems to be legit. I remember watching him predict what card some college student would pick and started watching his hands and body language. Before the kid even picked I knew 3 of hearts was the card he was trying to get him to pick. It's amazing how insidious that subliminal stuff can be.
