Supposedly he makes some game that puts people in a catatonic trance. Then he dumps them in a set that looks like the game they were just playing.

This totally looks set up. If not.... then it's the best prank in the world EVER x 1000....

Way back in 96 or so I had a few programs that were supposed to be able to simulate the effects of various substances by generating different frequencies and such. Never did crap for me, though (I was too poor to buy any substances at the time)

I can kinda see that happening. I know it is possible to be put into a trance. But it'd have to be a very effective setup to not know that it's happening.
