I will be all set to build my new computer by next week...execpt one thing...the Maxtor D740X HD's with fluid bearing features havn't come out yet!!! That means I have an idle computer without drives util they do. Argh! Anyone know when the fluid bearing D740X's are supposed to come out?
 
I have a non fluid right now and I can't hear it.
Anyways, you could always look at the new seagate ata IV with fluid bearings if you can't wait. It isn't as fast but would you notice the difference?
