depositing checks?!

I had moved to new york fairly recently and have a bank of america account. however, BOA does not have check-depositing ATM's or any branches yet in NY but i need to deposit these checks!!

how can i do it? would other banks' atm's allow check deposits into my BOA account? or can i mail it to them or what?
