I am trying to deploying proxy automatic configuration using wpad.dat file. I found about this very nice article (http://techblog.mirabito.net.au/?p=21), but I still don't really understand the part of "Deploying Automatic Configuration Using WPAD" in the article.
My router modem is D-Link DSL-2640B and I have a computer with ccproxy and wampserver installed. I have tried to rename the computer to wpad and have the wpad.dat file hosted so that all network computer can access the wpad.dat file via http://wpad/wpad.dat. However, those network computers doesn't work with the proxy automatically. What should I do in order to have it works?
