The citizens of the US asked for greater security, now they're going to get it, the hard way. Honestly you deserve this and worse, welcome to your new police state, now shut up and get back in line.

Despite TSA over reach anyone in the US can author an opinion article regarding TSA or any other subject and have it published in a national magazine and not get hauled before unelected speech code boards.

You can go fuck yourself. "The citizens blah blah". We didn't ask for anything. There was no vote, there was no process, and here we are. There's much right and wrong with the USA, and the last 10 years have swayed greatly to the wrong side. God damn I hope you're not really this stupid.

Write your Reps. That's the only recourse we have...the otherwise will not be pretty.

Sway? More like a hard sprint. Your country is so obsessed with security you blindly follow those in authority without so much as a peep. The citizens of the US asked for this by voting in those who run on a platform of increased security, the 'tough on crime' bs. Really, what did you expect? Dogs, the lot of you, enjoy your collars.

Then if you don't own a weapon, now is the time to get one.

And I hope they are used, your country is so deep in corruption it might be the only way to resolve things. I fear if the infection isn't cured it will continue spreading to my country, only way to stop it would be for the politics of the US to get a heavy dose of Mr.Clean.

I expect you've been enjoying your collar for a while now. And no, I don't have the slightest clue where your from, but it sounds like you speak heavily from experience.

Not everyone votes for the people that were or are in office now. There's a fill in the blank line that I utilize every vote.

Believe it or not, there's many citizens that do not like the direction the USA is headed. But hey, you obviously have met and know everything about each one of us...right? Where did I meet you, and when did you learn SO SO SO much about me?

Silence? Very very few people are OK with the TSA bullshit. In fact most people seem to be against it, while our overlords just don't give a fuck. Now if by silence you mean we aren't marching in the streets and trying to kill our leaders for "betraying us", well then you are right.

You feel better now after your little US bashing masturbation fest is finished?

I'm a pretty big fan of keeping government out of my business so I was naturally interested in the article. I read where cars were being inspected but noted this wasn't a random act. This was done at a port, and the significance of such a location should be obvious. I'm having trouble getting worked up over this.

I agree, ... but what worries me is the potential for abuse.

I don't think there is any "silence".

And I think most aren't paying attention to the realpolitk of the situation. Note that this is happening under the Dem control, the same Dems who railed bitterly gainst GWB for this type stuff. But the fact remains no one wants a successful terrorist attack on their watch, the political consequences would be severe.

As long as that remains the case whoever is in office/power is gonna keep the 'pedal to the metal' as far as security goes.
