Back when I was boxing they called me "The Dentist", because I would always knock people's teeth out with my devastating right. Everyone knows this.

baxk in my yopunger days when I was a fry cook at a Denny`s.
I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled with NO anesthesia on a Friday afternoon.
The doctor told me he always administers anesthesia.
I told him anesthesia is for sissys!!
I went to work that night and worked a 12 hr shift!!

I just had 4 wisdom teeth removed for $1600.

Its worth it. My friend never had his pulled, and right now they are growing sideways. This pushes on all of the other teeth. He gets migraine headachesw because of it. I think he is 27 right now and hasnt been able to get the money together to do this.

It`s defiantly worth it. I got mine removed when I was 15 :D

It`s better to do it when your young because the roots won`t get tangled in your jaw yet (ie less to remove, less painful recovery) and also my parents insurance covered it :)

$1500?! Wow, glad I had insurance when I took mine out 9 years ago. I think it was around $400 for my part of it. All 4 taken out, and I was knocked out, I had no interest in hearing the dentist cracking my teeth.

Second opinion. Or Third. I trust Dentists as much as Automechanics after one said 4 cavities and one said none. Course I went with none being pussy I am about drs and needles.

Don't share xrays or give him low down on seeing anyone else I think you may be surprised.

I remember my friend saying something about this. Those bastard teeth are really in there. To get em pulled, he said something like they would need to break his jaw then do a bunch of other crap. It sounded really painful and really expensive. Get it done as soon as possible. Get a loan from the bank if you need to.

> root canal

If you have an abscess you need to get this done ASAP. The ache and pressure can keep increasing to the point where using pliers to crush the tooth starts to seem like a sane response.

With the crown, you can keep using the tooth for 20+ years.

That price is much lower than what it would cost here in the Seattle area.

That price MUST be after his insurance pays their part.

My dentist quoted me $3500 for a root canal and crown about 5 years ago...

You must have some VERY GOOD insurance to get all that done for only $1,589. Without insurance or a discount plan you would be looking at about $2,000 just for the root canal and crown and a LOT more for the extractions.

Consider yourself lucky ...
