Dental Chains

Anyone ever go to one? They have these places in MA called Gentle Dental. For new patients, it is $57 for xray, cleaning and check up. Looking around, it is usually $100 for the cleaning alone. So...should I take a chance? I do not have dental insurance...

i use a discount plan - like this: https://www1.careington.com/index.aspx

it's $7 a month and you can use the plan that day if you need to.

most of the dentists in my area accepted the plan.


i've used the monarch dental chain - they're terrible. it was like every time i went there was a different dentist, plus there's a treatment counselor that pushes all sorts of worthless crap.

Awesome....I will look into it. I have been working contracts on and off for the past year. I do not get health or dental, but when I do, the cost is not worth it.

I am really thinking about that carington plan. Thing is, I only need this for about 2 months. After I get married, I will be on my wife's coverage plan (health, dental and vision). However, seeing how this is only $7 a month...it kind of pays for it self by just getting a cleaning. Also, do they cover stuff like scaling?
