Hi. I got a chance to buy used Denon AVR-S930H Receiver (what price worth to buy? $200-250 ????? Cheaper ????).
Trying to replace Yamaha 5.1 system Yamaha RX-V483 (non Atmos-DTS-X) but i really like it, nice sound and punch effects.
I'm worry if Denon won't keep up with Yamaha even with Atmos-DTS-X features. Features are good but more important is sound quality.
Should i stick with Yamaha and look for newer models? Will Onkyo do better job too compared to Denon?
I heard Denon's are cheaper and less reliable compared to Yamaha and Onkyo.
Any opinion? Thanks.

looks like it sells for 700 new.
which means your set is either fake or broken.
its too cheap.

If you are set on Yamaha, why are you looking at this Denon? I hear that Onkyo has gone down hill, so I would pass on the brand. Denon & Marantz are owned by the same company now, and are very good. I'm biased though, as my current system is Marantz.
The AVR-S930H came out late 2016 or early 2017, so $250 -$300 is the most I would spend. What is the seller asking for it? Did you have a chance to listen to it, or are you buying sight unseen?
