I have a Denon AVR-891 Reciever amp that has hiss from the speakers usually from the time it is turned on and then there is a loud pop and the amp trips. It has been doing this since it was about 6 months old.
Any ideas on the problem
Thanks for replying. 🙂
I have rechecked all speaker connections several times. There are no issues there.
It is only the Right side main speaker that has the hiss and the amp can run for some time before it trips or it may trip after only a couple of minutes.
I have tried running it just as a receiver and no other inputs or outputs connected, but the issue is still there.
Am thinking there is a faulty component in the amp on the right channel.
If the problem persists on the right channel without any speaker connected to it then that would suggest it is the AVR and probably something internal shorting out.
