I still have a pair of these and thinking of upgrading the cable but does this get rid of the annoying problem the original cable has ? Getting tangled all the time.
 
It will depend on what cable you replace it with, but it is possible to get a cable that isn't prone to tangling. I don't really have any recommendations though.
