Denied Checking Account

I have no idea whats going on i just got back from regions bank where i was denied to open a checking account,the last account i had with them was in good terms because i closed the account on my own free will.The lady at the desk gave me a number too call but i really don't know whats going on.I hope to god i can get an checking account somewhere.

Maybe the credit companies have put an identity fraud escalation on your account. You may end up having to call them up to clear it before you can open the account...

Of course, since you had another account with them, there may be an internal reason they can't create a new one for you too.

If you shafted another bank, it will be a mark on your record.

The banks stick together - you may have to atone for past mis-deeds if that is the case.

Sorry guys i was just asking for advise,i just did a credit report and there isn't anything negative in my credit just a few companies looking at me.ELfenix you can close this thread.
