Story here.

So it looks like Al Gore, amongst a few others, is remaining neutral...just in case he is called on to resolve the nomination before a nasty, bitter convention battle which would damage both the eventual nominee and the party.

In my mind, the real question is Clinton. Will she try to steal this nomination? And if so, by what means? It is becoming clear that Super Delegates will not do it for her now. What other methods might Billary take up to sneak in the back door?

so, if Hillary wins she'll be stealing the nomination and if Obama wins he's just going to be the winner?

Using the same tactics republicans and democrats have used since time immemorial. Lest we forget, McCain does not have the nomination wrapped up yet either.

You seem to imply playing your cards wisely is somehow always dirty.Four months ago we had some twenty people racing to get the prize only one can have. Most have dropped out due to lack of public support. Those remaining in the race have both strong support and have much invested.

And if we look at what GWB did to McCain in South Carolina in 2000, so far the campaign of 2008 has been clean by comparison. So far not bad.

What ever tactics Hillary, McCain, Huckabee, and Obama now use, will still fail if it fails the popular support sniff test. Why can't we end the endless speculation and let the primary process work.

After all, we may all know on March 5 after the real jury speaks. Pabster, you are not even a member of the peanut gallery.

She's got the goods, she's got the dirt, she's got the files, she's got the "machine", she's got the media, she's got her daughter,(pimping? how dare you!), and she's got Bill, you remember him don't you? The guy that sold our secret missile targeting technology to China, to help fund his campaign. There will also be clawing, kicking, scratching, screaming, and gnashing of teeth!
So, to answer your question,---- anything, and everything!!!
You owe it to her.

Now, now. Hillary had nothing to do with that.

Clinton loses key black supporter

"....Hillary Clinton's strategy of relying on Democratic super delegates to keep her ahead of Barack Obama in the race for the nomination was in jeopardy yesterday after a veteran of the civil rights movement said he would switch sides to support her opponent.

John Lewis, a Georgia congressman who had been supporting Clinton, said he now planned to back Obama. ....."

Lewis also expressed the need for the Supers to relfect the will's of the voters. Lewis was also a strong black ally, and was often used by Clinton to show her support among blacks.

This could end up looking like the HDDVD vs Bluray war for Clinton. If she doesn't blow out Obama on the 5th, we could see a precipitous abandonment of support of her camp, perhaps even before the PA primary.
