Jerrod Brown/Amy Klobachar. Midwest pickup, where the Dems need the most help.

Wouldn't it be something if Hillary decided to throw her hat in the ring a minute before the deadline.

I mention this only because anything's possible in the World of Trump that we now exist in.

time for an update. Hickenlooper officially running. I hope his name does not hinder his run.

Added Beto. Not adding some of the no-names like Yang/Hickenlooper/etc. as I am bumping up against the poll limit. I will continue to edit the choices as candidates come and go trying to keep the top contenders as options.

It's about the fact that she had to lie to fit in...

If she was being genuine and actually fit in with the demographic that seems to typically listen to the show she'd probably be mentioning NWA, Dr. Dre, maybe early LL Cool J

Instead she acted like a poseur... or as one person calls her Kamala Kameleon (misspelling mine)

but hey we've been accepting poseur politicians for quite a while I guess so why worry?

*edited 2 add*

Some of us into music particularly a specific genre around college years do remember quite well what music we were into that was released during that time. and you didn't address the tweet that referenced her particularly conservative AG record... a reason some African Americans whose youtube videos I've watched do not support her.

It's pathetic that a priority is to "fit in" with your demographic of targeting voters.

You're never going to identify with every group in the US, because going towards one group (e.g. smoking weed, listening to Tupac) goes against what another group does.

Honestly wish we would get the whole "trying to connect with my voters" out of politics and stick with just fucking politics. Bernie did it and he was arguably one of the most successful at it.

Honestly I'll make a guess right now for the 2020 election: The most successful democratic candidate will be the one that does the least personal identification.

So far I’m liking the Biden/Beto idea. I know it’s two white guys but come on and if you’re not going to vote Biden/Beto you’re going to vote Trump/Pence.....come on.....

*early in the game my opinion will likely change*

Nah.

Joe Biden supported the Iraq War and that is immediately disqualifying to any "leftist" if the term is going to have any meaning at all.

I refuse to vote for him, I don't care if he's running against Trump. It's morally bankrupt for the party to keep running these Iraq war monsters.

No, Bernie/clone or Bust gets us another 4 of Trump.

Sanders supporters voted for Clinton at a higher rate than Clinton supporters voted for Obama in '08, so I'm not sure what it is you're worried about.

If Biden/Beto get their nomination they will not lose because of Bernie bros, they will lose, like Clinton, due to their complete lack of appeal.

Clinton only lost by 80,000 votes across three states, states that Biden/Beto could win easily.

Yea, let's get the most boring and non-controversial team paired up. I need a good sleep.

Hickenlooper is much less of a no-name than Bill Clinton was at this point in 1990

I have changed my vote to Beto. I do not know a whole lot about him other than he generated a lot of hype during his battle with Cruz. None of the other Candidates excite me at all. I like Warren but I just think we need some young blood to really appeal to the under 60-70 crowd. As mentioned before I think she would make a great AG.
