WASHINGTON (AP) -- Less than a year since a law meant to remove big money from politics took effect, Democratic-leaning interest groups are working to raise millions in large donations in hopes of unseating President Bush and promoting their issues

Uh...Bush is going to have a 200 million dollar warchest and you expect Democracts to sity by idly?

While I personally hate how almost all of our politicians are bought off by PACs (EX: Darryl Issa- the guy who put 1.6 million dollars into the recall and then bowed out of the race is my Rep. He talked about briging California back to the people and out of the hands of big business. But when our city was fighting the SD Gas Company (Forgot the name) from putting up lines straight through Wine Country he didn't do ONE SINGLE THING...) we can't do much about it...especially with loopholes everywhere
